Canada Post Strike - Shipping Options Available

This information only applies to orders being shipped to Canadian addresses. Orders to the United States are not affected.

On September 25, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) started a full national strike. This means that Canada Post’s operations are currently shut down. At this time no new mail is being accepted and any items already in the system will be held until the strike is over.

We are still able deliver mysteries depending on which delivery method you choose:

ALL IN ONE BOX
(Installments packed together and shipped in one package)
We are continuing to ship "All in One Box" orders using other carriers. We don't anticipate any disruption to the delivery of these orders. However, only Canada Post can deliver to a PO Box. If you can provide an alternate street address we will be able to deliver with another carrier.

SEND WEEKLY
(Installments mailed weekly)
There is no cost effective way to deliver letter mail other than through the postal system. So we have temporarily suspended mailing letters in Canada. While we know this is disappointing, if you are in the middle of receiving a mystery, the simplest thing is to wait. We are hopeful that the interruption to mail service will be over soon and we will be able to resume mailing letters as soon as possible. If you have already placed an order and we are unable to mail the first letter on the date you chose due to the strike, we will start sending your mystery as soon as mail service resumes. If you would prefer to switch to "All in One Box" just email us.

If you are about to order a mystery, although you will be able to pick any start date, we will delay mailing your first letter until the strike is over. Once mail service resumes we anticipate there may be significant delays to mail delivery. If you are concerned about delays or interruptions, please order our "All in One Box" delivery option.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding.

If you have any questions please email us. We're here to help and try to make the best of a difficult situation.
